If a client needs a receipt for an appointment or purchase (not your Breely subscription), there are two easy ways to send one.
Option 1: Send a Receipt from Your Payment Processor
If you use Stripe, Square, or another payment processor, you can send an official receipt directly through their dashboard.
To send a receipt:
Log in to your payment processor (e.g., Stripe or Square).
Find the specific client transaction.
Use the built-in option to send a copy of the receipt to the client
This is the fastest and most reliable way to send a payment receipt. It will include all the key payment details your client may need for their records.
Option 2: Send a Receipt Automatically with Breely Automations
If you’d like to automatically send a custom receipt after payment, you can set this up in Breely.
To set this up:
Go to Forms > edit a form > Automations in your Breely account.
Click New Automation and choose a trigger such as Form Submitted or Appointment Scheduled.
Add an action to Send Email.
In the email body, include details like the amount paid, date, service, and any custom information you want shown.
This approach is ideal if you want to personalize your receipts or ensure every client automatically receives one.
