Automations Not Sending

There are several common reasons why automations (such as confirmation or reminder emails, SMS messages, or webhooks) might not be sending:

Automations Are Not Set Up

The form used for booking may not have any automation steps set up (for example, no 'scheduled' or 'reminder' email actions).

Check: Go to Forms > Edit the form > Automations tab and review the steps.

Automation Conditions Are Not Met

Many automations have conditions that must be met for the action to trigger. These could include filters based on event type, custom fields, or other values.

Check: Review the conditions for each automation step to confirm they are not too restrictive or incorrectly set.

Automation Step is Not On Correct Form

Automations only trigger for the specific form they are set up on. If you have multiple booking forms, ensure the automation is on the right form.

Missing or Incorrect Contact Info

If the client did not enter a valid email or phone number, or if the appointment is missing that info, the automation cannot reach the client.

Audit Log Shows Error

Sometimes there may be technical issues (e.g., spam filters marked the email, or an invalid address).

Check: Go to the specific booking event or client record, and review the audit logs for errors or failed sends.

Global or System Issue

On rare occasions, there could be a service issue affecting all emails or SMS.
