Booking time not showing

If a client is trying to book but doesn’t see the time slot they expect, don’t worry — there’s usually a simple reason. Use this guide to check common causes so you can quickly get your availability showing as intended.

Is Availability Set Up?

First things first — double-check that availability has been created for you, your team member, or the resource. Go to Availability in your account, then for each bookable person or thing check:

  • Are regular hours set for them?

  • Are there any specific hours set that are overriding the regular hours? Scroll down below the regular weekly availability to see date specific availability that overrides your regular hours

  • Does the availability give enough time for the event duration + any padding? Times will show to ensure there is enough time for the event type and any padding

Is There Availability for Specific Event Types?

In Breely, each event type group can have its own availability and scheduling rules. It’s possible you’ve got working hours for general appointments but haven’t assigned hours for a specific service.

How to check:

  • Open the Event Types section.

  • Select the event that’s missing times.

  • Make sure the event type is linked to the correct people or resources.

Are Times Blocked Off on the Calendar?

Even if you’ve set up availability, appointments, breaks, or personal blocks can override it. For example, if you have an all-day event or overlapping appointments, those slots won’t appear for booking.

How to check:

  • Go to your Calendar view and navigate to the date you’re troubleshooting.

  • Look for any existing bookings, blocks, or unavailable periods.

  • Remove or adjust anything you don’t want blocking your time.

When in doubt, the Calendar view is your best friend! It shows your real-time availability exactly as clients see it — including booked times, holds, and gaps. If something looks off, you’ll spot it right away.
