Setting time zones correctly ensures accurate scheduling for your business, staff, and clients.
Business Time Zone
By default, your business uses your browser's time zone. To change it:
Go to Settings > Business Settings.
Adjust the "Time Zone" setting.
Staff Time Zones
All staff members automatically use the business's time zone for their availability. If you have staff in different time zones:
Navigate to Availability.
Click on the staff member's name.
Click "Edit".
Select their specific time zone. This ensures all their availability is shown in their local time.
Client Time Zones
Clients automatically see appointment times converted to their local time zone, based on their computer's settings. All reminders and notifications will also reflect their local time.
Fixed Time Zone to Business
Sometimes you might want all appointments times to display in your business's time zone, regardless of the client's location. This is useful for events where everyone gathers in one physical place.
To enable this:
Go to Settings > Business Settings.
Enable "Fixed Time Zones".
Note: This only affects the client's scheduling experience. Logged-in administrators will still see times in their browser's time zone.
Troubleshooting Time Zone Issues
If you suspect time zone discrepancies, check the following:
Business Time Zone: Is it correctly set in Settings > Business Settings? (Remember, all availability defaults to this.)
Staff-Specific Time Zones: Has a different time zone been set for a specific staff member? You'll see this listed below their name in Availability.
Browser Time Zone: Is your browser's time zone correct? You can verify it at WhatIsMyTimeZone.com.
Event Time Zone: If the discrepancy is for one appointment, view the appointment and check the client's time zone (shown below the time of the appointment)
For administrators, the calendar and all events will display in your browser's local time zone, even if "Fixed Time Zones" is enabled and your browser's time zone differs from the business's.
