Subscriptions allow recurring billing for packs of appointments. This article is about subscription you allow clients to purchase, for help on your subscription paying for your Breely account see Plans & Billing.

How to Set Up Subscriptions:

  1. Enable Subscriptions:

    • Go to the Features & Integration section and turn on the "Subscriptions" feature.

    • Once enabled, a new form will appear in the Forms section. You can share this form with clients so they can purchase packages.

  2. Create and Manage Subscriptions:

    • In the Subscriptions section of your main navigation, you can set up and manage the different subscriptions you want to offer clients.

    • Subscriptions can be set up to be redeemable for a total number of appointments, total amount of time, total dollar amount, or specific number of appointments similar to packages

    • Behavior on renewal can be to rollover any unused balance to the next month, reset the balance, or leave the balance as-is

    • Subscriptions can be set to renew:

      • Monthly

      • Every other month

      • Every 3 months

      • Weekly

      • Every other week

      • Every 4 weeks

      • Every year

    • Optionally, you can also provide discounts on other services to subscriptions. For example, you could offer a 90min membership which provides someone one 90min appointment a month and a 20% discount on additional bookings

    • When editing a package the Automations tab will allow you to customize the notifications sent when a subscription is renewed, payment fails, or the subscription is about to expire

How Clients Purchase and Use Subscriptions:

  1. Purchasing Subscriptions:

    • Clients can purchase packages by completing any form that includes the "Packages" question.

  2. Booking Appointments with Subscriptions:

    • Clients don’t need any redemption codes. The package will be automatically applied to eligible bookings when clients use the same email address and name as when they purchased the package.

  3. Checking Subscription Balance:

    • Clients can see their remaining appointments on the confirmation page after booking.

    • If your form includes a "Client Login" question, clients can log in to view their balance at any time.

    • From the confirmation page or the client login clients can also cancel their subscription. Or, from the client login only, clients can update the credit card used for billing

How to Purchase Subscription as an Admin

As an admin you can set up subscriptions on behalf of a client in two different ways:

  1. Use the public form to purchase a subscription, the same way a client would, and purchase it on their behalf. This is best if you need to make immediate payment or complete additional form fields.

  2. Set up the subscription from the admin section

    1. Go to Subscriptions > Clients > click "Add Subscription to Client" button in the upper right.

    2. Select which subscription and which client to add it to

    3. No setup fees or initial payment will be charged so this is best for first payment accepted in person. The client must have a saved credit card in their profile for subsequent subscription renewals
