HIPAA and Breely

Breely can be used as part of a HIPAA compliant business with certain measures and considerations in place. It is ultimately your responsibility to ensure your business complies with HIPAA and other regulations.

In particular, some areas that should be looked at:

1. Sign a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) between you and Breely. Please contact support to start this process and have your account marked as HIPAA.
2. Review all automations to ensure that sensitive information is not shared with clients via email, SMS, or other channels
3. If you use 3rd party integrations, like Zoom, please ensure you have any necessary agreements in place with the 3rd party prior to connecting to Breely
